The U$ave Program

The University of Massachusetts is pleased to bring to the University's primary constituents-the campuses and their students, faculty, and staff-the second generation of the U$ave purchasing program for personal computers.

This purchasing program, originally conceived and launched in 2002, takes advantage of the volume purchasing power of all five University campuses and returns substantial discounts to the purchaser. U$ave, while designed primarily to serve the computer purchasing needs of the campuses, also extends its benefits to personal purchases by University students, faculty, and staff.

We encourage you to do your computer shopping through this web site and take full advantage of the substantial savings you will find here. The prices are the best available for the models that have the UMass-specified features.

University Agreements

U$ave Desktop/Mobile Computing Agreements:

A competitive bidding process conducted by the University President's Office in collaboration with all five campuses has resulted in a new multi contract award for desktop and mobile computers to both Dell, Inc. and Lenovo, Inc. The award starts July 1, 2010.

Apple Educational Agreement:

The University receives educational pricing for both Institutional and Personal purchases through the Apple Education Store. Campuses who setup authenticated stores (requiring a campus ID) can receive further discounts.
